This is one of the first original animation art pieces I ever bought. It appears to be from Disney's GOLIATH II and it's either by John Lounsberry or John Sibley, two animators I admire. There's an excellent profile of Sibley in Amid Amidi's ANIMATION BLAST, written by Pete Docter.

If anyone out there knows for sure who drew this, let me know! I'd appreciate it.

I wish I had such a drawing on my wall!
But i can't tell you who drew it though...
When are you going to post some of own your fabulous drawings/animations Will?
Cause It would be super to see some keyposes of Cogsworth. Love that character!

Come see my animations, when you have some time!

A favor to ask... Would you bring that drawing by the ASIFA Archive sometime so we could scan it for our database? I have one Sibley drawing and a few Lounsbery's here you could compare it to. (My two bits are riding on it being a Sibley drawing.)

See ya

Aw, wow--beautiful! I want it! Damn!

I'll bet Pete would know--he's certainly done enough study of both men. Ask him!
