For equal time, here's Kascht's version of outgoing Veep Dick Cheney.
Caricature is not exactly my strong suit, but I managed this quick sketch of Cheney while watching the news one night. I kind of ended up making him look like something from the old UNDERDOG TV show. John K is right--observing reality is a great way to get inspiration for cartoons.

Excellent drawings. Cool caricatures. And you're right, reality is a great source for cartoons. Humans are by far the funniest animals on the face of the planet. Humans do the most moronic things, things even the most disgusting of animals won't do? I should do a post about that.
Have you seen my Alice in Wonderland post. I've just posted it, even though I started it in January.
Will,
You've got the Dick Cheney "sneer" dead on in your drawing and I'm betting you do a pretty good vocal characterization as well, I've heard your Donald Trump and it's "fantastic, really, really fantastic.".
You get my vote, Will. I like your Cheney the best.
Amazing caricatures! Spot on.
Ciao,
Joe
Your caricature is perfect!
I'm with Floyd. Your Cheney is funnier —reminds me of the Penguin from Batman. I like John Kascht, but he's a bit soft for my tastes. His caricatures are really cartoony portraits.
BTW, Will, I just saw your (and Floyd's) interviews on the 101 Dalmatians DVD. Very nice bonus materials. Kudos to you both!
I really love his work too .I got a good collection of his work from E.W. There is a 50's type of way of drawing in his work that I love.
