For Halloween I don't have anything scarier to post than this quick scribble I did of Bette Davis while watching WHATEVER HAPPENED TO BABY JANE a couple of months ago. This was during the end scene where she's at the beach and showing something that is not quite remorse....I also sketched Victor Buono from the same movie. He was one of the great demented actors of all time, equally able at comedy and drama. And always a little scary.

Great drawings. You make mw want to see this movie.
I love this movie. You have captured the characters perfectly.
Really great characters!
Victor Buono was just made for caricature. Your drawing of him is perfect! I'm surprised I've never seen him caricatured before. I like him best as the hot cocoa swigging deputy sheriff in my favourite Sinatra film, "Robin and the 7 Hoods".
Thanks for the comments. John--doesn't Buono and his mom in this movie remind you of CONFEDERACY OF DUNCES?
Pete--thanks for he tip. you ought to take a stab at Buono from ROBIN--a movie i will make a point of re-watching soon!
