Mouse drawings
Just to keep the site from going stale, here's a brace of sketches of the small room mascot, WTF MOUSE, done about 6 months ago for no particular reason.
thanks for all these nice comments. i wish i had something new and pertinent to put up but have been too crunched time-wise. it may just be doodles till the end of December.
Deniseletter--i haven't been able to draw happily in Photoshop yet. the program i LOVE is AutoDesk's SKETCHBOOK. These were done on a small toshiba tablet with custom brushes i made in the program. and indeed, my 'default' mice always owe a debt to Hubie and Bert, no doubt about it.
oddly enough i had to make some detailed pencil renderings the old fashioned way (on real paper) recently and found it a refreshing change of pace.
Thanks for posting these Will! They're beautiful drawings indeed! Also I wanted to let you know that during college one of our class assignments was to do a 60 frame rotation of Cogsworth's head. It was one of the most difficult things I've ever done, in terms of solid draughtsmanship, so I have a lot of respect for the animators that worked on him. Again beautiful work and I look forward to your posts!

Your drawings are amazing. :)
Very fun and appealing! I especially like #2 and #5. A good lively cartoon drawing is always fun to look at.
Very nice sketches! Love the flow and rhythm in these. He is cute as Hubie and Burt.
Love it, Will. To me, this is one of my favorite parts of many artists' blogs -- seeing what they draw when they are drawing for themselves.
Great!I am fascinated when an artist can draw so well on the cintq.
I like !
A big-nose cartoon character is always a winner , imo.
The line works is so alive. More, more ...
The colors are so vivid too.If I'm not wrong,How Do you trace these with Photoshop coloring? What do you use?
