These wonderfully expressive drawings just cry out to be animated. And I mean TRADITIONALLY, with pencil! Too bad that none of the studios are able to see the inherent appeal in fully animated drawn characters anymore. Even Disney seems to be taking the "wait and see" approach with the upcoming, "The Princess and the Frog", not wanting to commit to any more traditional films unless they make a ton of profit from this one first. I'm actually quite confident that it will be a huge success, as I believe that the general public is starving for a return to drawn animation at Disney. And forgive me for being selfish, but I'd love to see you back there, Will, helping to create more great films like what you talented folks were doing back in the 80's/90's period, before Eisner in his infinite "wisdom" shut you down.
